The Dog Whisperer

It was Sherman's first day of school with Andy "Cesar Who?" Replogle of NYC DreamDogs. The session went swimmingly and we're on the road to curing Sherm's separation anxiety.

Andy is great! Check out his reviews on Yelp. (Thank you very much Rachel for the recommendation).

Signs of Spring

It's 80 degrees in New York City today and it's obvious that Spring has (finally!!!) sprung. Here are some early indicators...

The trees are blossoming...

There's a line at the gelato place...

Sherman's little tongue is out...

Happy Birthday, Grandma!

Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday, dear Grandma!

Happy Birthday to you!

(Cha, Cha, Cha!)

On this special day, Sherm wanted to recount his favorite times spent with Grandma before coming to live with us. From his first day with his new family, to watching TV, to playing outside with Zane, to being squashed between Grandma's legs, all the way to sleepy time. Shermie loves his grandma and thanks her for listening to his mom and not calling him Joe.

Happy Birthday, mom. Love you lots. Thank you for my little Christmas present.

A Day With His Godmother

Yesterday, while his legal guardians were at the new Mets stadium for a matinee game, Sherman spent the day with his devoted godmother (dogmother?), Jessica. Here are some photos of the two bonding.

Justin, eat your heart out.

Wart!

Yes, it's true. Horrible but true. Sherman has contracted a single wart, which very may become many, on his hind pinky piggy. Even so, I think it's pretty adorable....

What'll it be next, Sherm?

Allergic

Poor Shermie is suffering from some seasonal allergies and is experiencing the biggest sneezes ever. His ears go all over the place and he leaves a wet spot on the floor. He is currently on a 2 year-old's dose of children's Benadryl and will be ship-shape in no time.

In the immortal words of Elliot Sherman, CPA, "I'm allergic to peanuts, lint, and cereal, and paint, magic marker, sand gnats, yoooguuurt..."
